What People Are Saying

Trusted by veterinarians, trainers, and behaviorists, PetTelligence™ is making a measurable difference for pets and their families. Hear from professionals and pet parents who rely on our platform to simplify care, strengthen bonds, and achieve better outcomes.

As a first-time dog owner, I appreciate the knowledge and skills I have gained from this program. I am grateful  for the excellent behavioral training it provided for my Shih-Tzu, Peanut (and me!). The lessons were professionally presented and informative, and made it easy to understand how to work with my dog’s behavior, not against it.

This program was fantastic.  I’m so glad I did it.

Words cannot express our gratitude for you and the plan developed for Nova. The shelter told us she had been returned three times in two months. She was scared of everyone and would bark and soil herself when left alone. I was initially skeptical about an online behaviorist, but we could already see improvements within the first week. After completing the plan, Nova is the most loving and sweet pup we could have ever asked for.  Thank you, Dr. Tripp. We will be eternally grateful to you.

Zoey struggled with fear and reactivity. Thanks to the program, she can now go on walks, greet other dogs, and accept visitors into our house (with some routine), which we never thought would be possible. The best part is that WE were Zoey’s trainers through your program. We believe that the resulting trust and bond were essential to Zoey’s success.

The different techniques and tools we’ve gained allow us to train Zoey through her current problems, and any future problems if they arise.

I think every veterinary practice should offer a service like this.

    What The Science Says

Grounded in modern veterinary behavior research, PetTelligence™ combines expert protocols with evidence-based strategies proven to improve pet well-being. Every feature is designed to translate complex science into practical tools that fit seamlessly into daily care.
“Pets can exhibit behavioral problems that impair the human-animal bond, but behavior changes are also how veterinarians can tell whether dogs or cats have an illness, pain, or are experiencing emotional distress.”
Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association
“Emotional health is just as vital to animal wellbeing as it is to human wellbeing”
Marc Bekoff, biologist, ethologist, behavioral ecologist, and author of The Emotional Lives of Animals
“The Pet Happiness Profile is an excellent behavioral screening tool for any veterinary practitioner to identify chronic stress in any canine or feline patient.”
Valarie Tynes, DVM, Diplomate American College of Veterinary Behavior (and) Diplomate of American College of Animal Welfare
"A new study by author Bonnie Beaver, BS, DVM, MS, from Texas A&M University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (VMBS), published on April 4, 2025, reveals that over 99 percent of dogs in the U.S. display at least one potentially problematic behavior."
The prevalence of behavior problems in dogs in the United States (Journal of Veterinary Behavior, Volume 76, November December 2024, Pages 34-39), reported, 'Over 99% of U.S. dogs were reported to have moderate to severe behavior issues." The study also noted that in the U.S. people who relinquish dogs at animal shelters often do so because of behavior problems but they do not always reveal a behavior problem, its severity, or whether it is the reason for relinquishment."
"Fear and anxiety-related behaviors are common in pet dogs and are likely to cause a physiological stress response in individuals that are exposed to those things they find fear or anxiety-inducing. Stress responses are related to a number of changes in hormonal and immune modulation and have been shown in many species to be related to disease processes and shortened lifespan. It was predicted that dogs with fear and anxiety disorders would have decreased lifespan and increased disease frequency and severity."
